So I know its been a while but with the craziness of life I haven’t gotten a chance to post in over a month :( BUT now that I have somewhat of a day off, (I still have to go to work later today :( ) I wanted to make a quick post :)

One of the things I have been dying for was an instant camera.  With some of the money I got cleaning out my room on ebay, I was able to buy one :D   I wound up going with the Fujifilm Instax Mini 7S camera.  Most retailers charge between $60-70 for the camera, with the exception of Urban Outfitters which actually charges MORE THAN DOUBLE what I paid for it at B and H Photo. O_O But that’s a whole nother issue that we won’t be getting to in this post :P

Even though the camera is called mini, its pretty big lol, but the film itself is about the size of a credit card to give you an idea.  Here’s a picture of my camera and two off my film packs.  The film is pretty expensive and costs about $1 a sheet but if you’re lucky, you can get it for cheaper online in ebay auctions.  Also, not available in the US, but available in other countries, specifically in Asia, more specifically Korea and Japan, you can get character prints! :D I ordered a pack of the Miffy ones, and I can’t wait to use them! All of the prints in the pack have little images of Miffy on the bottom and each one has a different pattern :3

So far I have also seen prints in Stitch, Hello Kitty, Pooh Bear, Rilakkuma, Mickey and Minnie, Disney Princesses, Cars and Toy Story. I actually really want to get the Stitch ones next, but they’re a little more pricey so I’m gonna save up a little first. :P

So far, I’ve only take 3 photos because the film is so expensive and the camera is too big to bring out all of the time.  They look much better in person then the way they came out on my scanner :/ but here they are!!

I haven’t decided if I like them better with or without writing yet, partially because of my terrible handwriting, which is why I haven’t written on the one of me and my boyfriend.

I also ordered a cute album which holds my instant photos! It’s got a really cute Mickey and Minnie on the front with Pluto :)

As always, there’s plenty more to update about, but I’ll leave that for next time :)

With tons of work to do, in the spirit of procrastination, I’m going to do another blog post! :D This is my third day in a row so I am totally proud of myself right now, haha.

As you all know, yesterday was Labor Day, and  being as I work in retail…I was working :( It’s not completely bad though because 1) A little extra cash never hurt anyone. 2) I was able to take advantage of the sales and got a great deal on two collage picture frames! :)

As you all may know, I LOVE picture frames and taking pictures! Because of the sales and my employee discount :P these collage frames came down to only $3.21 a piece! How could i possibly pass them up? I’m not sure where I will put them yet or even what pictures I will put in them, but I already have a collage frame hanging on my wall and as of right now these are the pictures in it :3

I also picked up a lot of packing material while I was at work too.  As I mentioned before, I have been selling stuff on ebay, and recently, many of my lots have ended, so its time to pack them up and ship them out!! :)

Finally, with school back in session already, and moving at a fast pace, it’s really easy to become stressed out.  This semester, I wanted to try and find some ways to relieve stress. One of the most peaceful stress reliefs so far for me has been my fish tank.  Over the summer, I invested in a 10 gallon tank, and while at times it may become stressful (when a fish dies, when the water levels need fixing, tank becomes cloudy, etc.), for the most part it has been a huge stress relief for me.  It is so peaceful to watch the fish swim around and even the sound of the filter can be relaxing.  Honestly, when I got the fish tank, I didn’t realize just how therapeutic it would be, and I would totally recommend getting one to everyone I know, stressed out or not :)

I will definitely be posting more about my tank in a future post! :) Another stress relief for me thus far has been candles.  I never used to light candles, but recently I finally invested in one of those Luminere lighters and it has been so relaxing!

Now, I just stick a candle on my lap desk next to my laptop, light it and enjoy the sweet scent of apple pie while I do my school work :)

Anyway, that’s all for now! :)

Urban Decay Haul

Urban Decay is one of my favorite makeup brands, and recently they were having a huge clearance sale on their website, which I made sure to take advantage of :P

To start things off, I had gotten three tubes of loose pigment in Gunmetal, Rockstar and Protest.  These pigments normally go for $20 a piece but they were on sale for only $1 a piece!!!More than 90% off!!!!

Next, we have what is probably my favorite part of the haul, the cream shadows. :P I love to use neutral and brown colors on my eyes so I ordered the shades Suburbia, Whipped and Midnight Rodeo.  They were $3 a piece down from $17.

Last but not least, we have a matte eyeshadow in Narcotic, orig.$17 now.$3, and a pocket rocket lipgloss in Jesse, orig.$19 now.$5.  I was a little bummed when I received the lipgloss because on their website the color looked like a pretty shade of violet, but when I received it, the color looks more like a deep red.  Never the less, I can’t wait to try any of these products!!

Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with my purchase :) and my savings. ;P I definitely hope to catch an Urban Decay sale like this again!!

So as you all may know, I am a HUGE fan of True Blood!!

The hit HBO show is currently two episodes away from completing its 4th season, and in honor of the show, Tarte released a limited edition palette over the past summer.

The palette retails for $52 and contains 17 beautiful eyeshadows, a mascara, an eye primer and an eye liner.

The colors come out vibrant and shiny and the mascara makes my lashes feel longer and healthier than any mascara I have tried before! :D I know that $52 may seem like a hefty price to some to pay for a makeup palette but you do get a lot in it that will last a long time and the quality is far superior to the cheaper brands I have tried from the local drugstore before.

The palette also comes with a really cute little booklet that says “Glamour Me” and contains 4 different looks you can make using the palettes :P too cute!

On a side note, I am back in class now and aside from all the schoolwork I already have piling up DX, I have been using my free time to clean out my room and sell stuff on ebay! :D So far things have been going well for the most part, and I have sold a few things but I don’t want to jinx it. ;P  I told my bf I would use some of the money I make towards his bday gift too so as of right now its looking like he might have a pretty nice gift coming his way lol :P

Anyway, that’s it for now! :D

I know it has been almost two months since my last post, but with a trip to the hospital, birthday parties, a bbq, dinners, concerts, work and a new fish tank, I’ve had a pretty crazy, but amazing summer.  Now that school is once again back in session, I will probably have alot more time to post , but before I get back into my regular habbit, I just want to take a few minutes to thank all of the people who made this summer so special-my boyfriend, my friends and family, without you guys, I don’t know where I would be.

Here are just a few pictures from my amazing summer :)

Thank you all for making my life so special <3

More Kidrobot!

So as you may have noticed, I’ve become increasingly into Kidrobot lately. XD Over the holiday weekend, I managed to get myself three more things to add to my growing collection :)

First, we have a figure from the adorable Best Friends Forever-Love Hurts collection! The BFFS collection features some not so “friendly” pairs, paired up together. :P

I got big t+little c+ barry! an adorable pair with a rarity of 1/16 I’ve been lucky enough to never have had a cavity before, so I don’t know if I can completely appreciate this the way that some people can, but regardless, I think its one of the cutest pairs in the collection! :)

Next, we have the Yummy Donuts Mini Plush by Heidi Kenney.  I love sugary sweets and any kind of cute plush things resembling sugary sweets so I was just dying for one of these little donuts!!

I got the chocolate sprinkle one which wasn’t my first choice, and I was really hoping for the green or blue, but the chocolate is still cute and probably less likely to get dirty, or at least show it, which is a plus!

And finally, of course, I got another Yummy Dessert key chain! :D This time I got the green gelatin which has a rarity of 1/25.  I absolutely love it!

Overall, it was a petty good haul, and I will be sure to post any new Kidrobot merch I acquire in the future. :)

So anyone who lives in New York City knows that Soho is a great place to go shopping for new clothes and accessories :P Recently, I was in Soho with my boyfriend shopping when I picked up a few cute pieces :)

One of my first stops in Soho is always Uniqlo. Uniqlo is a Japanese clothing store currently located only in Soho in NYC, however, in the fall, they are opening up another store near Herald’s Sq! :D

Recently, they had a line put out with Disney characters, Tom & Jerry and Tweety Bird.  The majority of this line is now 50% off on clearance, and I managed to find this adorable Tweety Bird tunic dress for only $10 down from $20 :)

I’ve been on a tight budget these last couple of weeks so I didn’t want to spend too much money while I was out ;X I stopped in a few other stores after Uniqlo, but only bought something at Forever 21.

I got this really adorable green skirt and a plain white tank.  I have been needing a new white tank for a while now and at $4.50 a piece, how could I possibly go wrong? :P

The green skirt was a pretty good buy at only $9.50, the beautiful jewel shade can be worn now and still in the fall! Definitely a great addition to my closet.  It also came in navy, tan, brown and black, but the green color was my favorite :)

That’s all for now!
